| Hi all. Hope someone can give me some advice. I recently bought my 1st Freesat box after giving sky the boot. I also at the same time bought one for a friend. At first they were both working fine until i started to delete some of the channels we did not want on ours and the TV screen just went blue. I can not get anything from the box to TV picture wise and therefore cannot get into menu setting to do a default setting. If I use the remote the led on box seems to register channel change up & down, but as I say without a picture. I have left it turned off for nearly a week and it's still the same. The company I bought it from rightly say send it back to the manufacturer and here lies another problem. The instuction booklet was very basic and does not give a return address or phone No for the company who made it. It is a KONIG SDFTA11. I have been told you can flash boxes, but haven,t a clue how to do this or what softwear I would need if any to do it.Is it a throw it away job or is there something I can do. It was a cheapy as we wanted to see what FTA was like before spending on a better one. Sorry for rambling a bit on my first post. Thanks. Ian |

I can't help you on setting up your box, but the company you purchased the box from is liable to either exchange or repair your box as they are the people you have your contract with and not the manufacturer.
That is as long as the box is under the warranty period.
Get in touch with them again and demand they sort it as this is your legal right. |
